Join the Oklahoma Chapter

Recognized as a nonprofit organization in October 1978, the Oklahoma Chapter of the American College of Surgeons would like to invite you to become a member of one of the most progressive and historically active state chapters in the country! It is your committed membership that will continue to allow the Chapter focus on important issues facing Oklahoma surgeons.

With your Oklahoma Chapter membership you will receive valuable benefits such as event information and legislative alerts. Members also have access to a newly-redesigned website with a completely new look and streamlined navigation.

Membership Categories

Associate Fellow — $75

Join us! Please note that you must already be accepted as an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Fellow — $100

ACS has implemented the Joint ACS National/Chapter Dues Collection Program to combine the national and chapter dues of eligible Fellows into one invoice.  Fellows are asked to visit the online member portal for dues payment options at https://www.facs.org/ and follow these steps:

Click “Login” and log in to your account

Click your circular profile icon

Click “My Dashboard”

Click on the “Make a Payment” alert on the top of the Dashboard

Retired — $25

Join us! Please note Retired Fellows must have been granted retired status by the American College of Surgeons.

Resident — $0

Join us! Please note that you must meet the requirements for residents (surgical residents who have completed allopathic or osteopathic medical school and are currently enrolled in an accredited training program focused on one of the 13 surgical specialties, as well as those who have completed an initial residency and are currently involved in surgical research or a surgical fellowship) by the American College of Surgeons.

Medical Student — $0

Join us! Please note that you must meet the requirements for medical students (medical students currently enrolled in an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school in the United States, Canada, and international countries) requirements by the American College of Surgeons.
