Membership Categories
Fellow — $100
Must have been recognized by the American College of Surgeons as a Fellow.
Associate Fellow — $75
Must have been recognized by the American College of Surgeons as an Associate Fellow.
Retired/Senior — $25
Please note that you must already be accepted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
Medical Student — $0
Please note that you must meet the requirements for medical students (medical students currently enrolled in an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school in the United States, Canada, and international countries) requirements by the American College of Surgeons.
Resident — $0
Please note that you must meet the requirements for residents (surgical residents who have completed allopathic or osteopathic medical school and are currently enrolled in an accredited training program focused on one of the 13 surgical specialties, as well as those who have completed an initial residency and are currently involved in surgical research or a surgical fellowship) by the American College of Surgeons.
How To Pay
ACS has implemented a Joint ACS National/Chapter Dues Collection Program to combine the national and chapter Fellow dues into one invoice. You can pay your 2026 Chapter dues and your 2026 National dues simultaneously.
To pay your dues, visit the College’s website and login to your online member portal (www.facs.org)

Click your circular profile icon
Click “My Dashboard”
Click on the “Make a Payment” alert on the top of the Dashboard
Once logged in, you may pay your dues online by credit card, or select another payment method (check, ACH, wire, fax, or print an invoice). The College will also send an invoice by both email and mail. All FAQs about this program may be answered Chapter Dues Billing | ACS (facs.org).
